Congress Parliamentary Strategy Group meeting was held by the party ahead of Union Budget 2022. The meeting was headed by Congress leader Sonia Gandhi in which the party decided to raise issues like relief package to COVID-19 victims, Air India disinvestment, inflation, border issue with China, farmers' issues. The party also decided to coordinate with like-minded parties on the issues.

Due to the covid surge, the country has faced and still facing financial losses and the economy of the country is also the topic of discussion now, and after this tragic situation, it will be interesting to see how the finance minister will come out with the proper Union Budget and what kind of refiles she will give to the economy. 

Meanwhile, the final Budget date of 2022 has been released, The finance minister Nirmala Sitaraman on February 1 at 11 am will release the Union Budget 2022. The first part of budget 2022 will start from January 31 and will continue till 11 February.
