The results of the Haryana Assembly elections are becoming clearer, with the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) poised to secure power for the third consecutive time. Despite early trends favoring Congress, the BJP has since gained a majority, leaving Congress trailing. In response to this shift, Congress leader Jairam Ramesh has raised concerns about the transparency of the election process, accusing the Election Commission of deliberately slowing down the release of vote count updates.

Jairam Ramesh's AllegationsJairam Ramesh, expressing his dissatisfaction with the vote-counting process, stated, "The Election Commission's website is announcing election trends at a deliberately slow pace. This raises suspicion that the BJP is trying to exert pressure on the administration." He further claimed that this slow reporting undermines voters' rights and could affect the credibility of the entire election process. Ramesh urged the Election Commission to expedite the release of election data to maintain public confidence in the results.

Although Congress initially appeared to have an edge, the sudden shift in favor of the BJP has led to these accusations, reflecting the tension and uncertainty surrounding the electoral process in Haryana.
