J&K refutes reports about 4G Internet restoration in Jammu

The J&K government on Wednesday refuted as "fake news" reports on social media that said 4G Internet services were being restored in the Jammu division from this night.

Jammu, March 25 The J&K government on Wednesday refuted as "fake news" reports on social media that said 4G Internet services were being restored in the Jammu division from this night.

Speaking to , a top official of the UT governmentclarified that "there is no such direction from the UT's Home Department".

"The report about restoration of 4G Internet services in Jammu division is 'fake' and we are issuing an official statement to deny any such order having been issued."

Earlier, an item circulated through e-mails and media Whatsapp groups had said that 4G Internet services were being restored in the Jammu division tonight while these would continue to remain suspended in Kashmir.
