Modi call up Stalin, asks about health

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday called DMK President M.K.Stalin and enquired about his and his family's health.

Chennai, April 5 Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday called DMK President M.K.Stalin and enquired about his and his family's health.

In a statement issued here, the DMK said Modi had called Stalin and enquired about him, his mother and other members of his family.

Referring to the invitation to attend the all party meeting called on April 8 in Delhi, Stalin told Modi that senior party leader T.R. Baalu would attend it.

According to the DMK, Home Minister Amit Shah too called and spoke to Stalin.
