New Delhi, March 22 Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Sunday said he will be strictly following the Janata Curfew and urged the nation to join.

In a tweet, he said people should break the chain and protect our nation against this pandemic with social distancing and self isolation.

"As Janata Curfew, people's movement begins, I pledge to strictly follow PM Narendra Modi ji's call. I also urge my fellow countrymen to participate. Let's break the chain and protect our nation against this pandemic with social distancing and self isolation," Shah tweeted.

Modi had urged the nation to practice 'Janata Curfew' on Sunday between 7 a.m. and 9 p.m. as the country faces fight against coronavirus.
