While the farmers' agitation is going on in Delhi over the new agriculture laws, NCP president and former Union Agriculture Minister Sharad Pawar has also repeatedly criticized the Modi government. Today, Pawar has once again strongly attacked the central government.

Today is the 34th day of the farmers' agitation in Delhi. A meeting between the government and farmers' organizations will be held again tomorrow. Earlier today, Sharad Pawar met farmers in the capital Delhi.

Pawar said,"BJP should've included leaders with 'in-depth' understanding of agriculture, farmers' issue in ministers' group negotiating with unions."

He further said that if government again ignores farmers' issues in Dec 30 meeting, opposition parties will sit and decide next course of action.

The NCP supremo added that the government "bulldozed" three farm laws without consulting states; Agriculture can't be run "sitting in Delhi". It is unfair that Centre is blaming opposition for farmers' agitation; they must take protests seriously, said.

On the future course of action of opposition parties, Pawar said, "We are waiting for what will happen on December 30. My only suggestion is that the government must indulge in serious dialogue with farmers who are protesting in shivering cold on road."
