Pune: Their will water supply disruption in Pimpri-Chinchwad will remain shut today 23 February,2026 evening. According to reports, PCMC will undertake civil and electrical works at Sector 23 at Nigdi water purification center, along with maintenance of key components of the city's distribution network.

Officials said, water supply across the twin city will remain completely suspended on Feb 23 evening. The impact of the supply suspension is likely to continue till February 24 morning. Pimpri-Chinchwad gets alternate water supply and this water cut will force residents to store more water that can last for at least two days.

Water department has appealed to citizens to store adequate water in advance and use it sparingly during the shutdown period. Vikrant Bagade, additional municipal commissioner, PCMC,"We request residents to cooperate with the civic administration and bear with the temporary inconvenience. Efforts will be made to complete the works on time and restore normal supply at the earliest."
