Pimpri-Chinchwad: The water supply in several areas will be affected on Tuesday April  28 for maintenance and repair work. This work is undertaken by the Municipal Corporation at the Nigdi Water Treatment Plant, the evening water supply to all parts of Pimpri-Chinchwad.

On Wednesday morning, the water supply will be irregular and delivered at reduced pressure. The Municipal Corporation's Water Supply Department has appealed to citizens to cooperate by storing a sufficient quantity of water in advance and using the available supply judiciously.

To ensure that there are no disruptions to Pimpri-Chinchwad city's water supply system, it is essential to carry out periodic maintenance and repairs of the water supply infrastructure. Accordingly, the Municipal Corporation's Water Supply Department is set to undertake civil and electrical maintenance and repair works at Sector No. 23, as well as at the zonal level.

To facilitate these works, plans have been finalized to suspend the water supply originating from the Nigdi Water Treatment Plant on April 28, 2026. Consequently, the evening water supply to all areas of the city will remain suspended on April 28.
