Pune Accident News: An 11-year-old girl was killed after a gas cylinder transport tempo rolled backward when its driver allegedly failed to apply the handbrake in Maharashtra’s Pimpri area. The incident occurred around 4:30 p.m. on Monday, March 16, 2026, near Somatane Phata. The victim was identified as Dnyaneshwari Munde, 11.

According to the reports, the tempo carrying gas cylinders was parked on a slope in the Somatane Phata area. However, the driver did not properly engage the handbrake, causing the vehicle to suddenly roll backward after a short while.
