A couple got divorced by mutual agreement, citing fundamental disagreements. They had been living apart for two years, and the court waived the standard waiting period. The divorce was finalized in 39 days. Advocate Mukul Vinayak Mahindrakar represented both the husband and wife. He was 30 and she was 25 when they married on November 21, 2021.

Two years later, they separated and, after failed reconciliation attempts involving counselors, family, and legal counsel, they jointly filed for divorce by mutual consent. However, as both parties remained firm in their decision to divorce, they submitted a joint petition to the court through Advocate Mahindrakar, explicitly stating that there were no disputes regarding alimony or property.

Consequently, the court granted the divorce by mutual consent, subject to specific terms and conditions including stipulations that the wife would not retain her husband's surname post-divorce, that neither party would make allegations or defamatory statements against the other on social media, and that no member of either family would file any legal case against the couple.
