A major power outage has affected in the Dighi area, following a cable fire near Pathan Baba Dargah on Alandi Road.  The fire caused 7 to 8 power cables to burn, resulting in the shutdown of both the Dighi and VSNL feeders. other than Dighi area, including Adarsh Nagar and Bharat Mata Nagar, following a cable fire near Pathan Baba Dargah on Alandi Road. According to an official from the Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (MSEDCL), the fire, which is believed to have been caused by a garbage fire, has severely damaged the power lines. A fire, suspected to be from burning garbage, has damaged eight power lines, leaving residents without electricity since 3 a.m.

Punekar News reported, that MSEDCL repairs are underway and power is expected to be restored in approximately two hours. Efforts are focused on swiftly resolving the ongoing outage.
