Pune, Maharashtra (March 8, 2025): A couple returning home from work was attacked with a koyta after a minor argument with a group of youths in the Sinhagad Road area on Friday evening.

According to the regional media reports, the couple, who live in the area, was riding home on their two-wheeler when they got into an altercation with a group of bikers near the regional office. The argument escalated, and the group began verbally abusing them. One of the assailants pulled out a koyta and attacked the man, leaving him injured.

The attackers fled the scene on their bikes. The frightened couple rushed to the Sinhagad Road police station and reported the incident. Police registered a case and launched an investigation to identify the suspects. The assault has created fear in the locality.
