A woman managed to steal rs 4.5 lakh from a shop in Warje Malwadi while pretending to shop, leaving the shopkeeper in shock. The theft occurred at Ashtavinayak Chowk, and the crime has been reported to the Warje police.

The victim, a 40-year-old shopkeeper from Sahyognagar, Warje, runs a store selling vegetables, spices, and bangles. She had kept ₹2 lakh in cash along with jewelry in a bag at the shop, as she was saving the money for her son’s upcoming wedding. Since she spent most of her time at the shop, she had stored the valuables there for safekeeping.
