Pune, Maharashtra (February 22, 2025): A massive fire broke out at the Durga Devi Utsav Mandal's tent material storage in Vikas Nagar, Pune, around 4 p.m. on Saturday. Four fire engines were deployed to control the blaze. No casualties have been reported, and the cause of the fire remains unknown.

Firefighter Anil Dingle said the fire department received a call at 3:49 p.m. from a person named Sachin Chavan, who reported the incident. Three fire vehicles and support teams were dispatched immediately. Upon arrival, firefighters found the blaze had spread to fiber material used for decoration. Efforts to contain the fire continued as officials assessed the damage.
