Ajit Pawar said, the Pink e-rickshaw distribution program is being held today (April 21). Today's program is important and will bring about social transformation in the state. Narendra Modi is implementing many schemes for women and children. We are also implementing many schemes in the state under the leadership of Devendra Fadnavis. I had first approved Rs 80 crore for this work. We wanted to implement this scheme before the assembly elections. We had decided to buy these rickshaws from a good company. Today, the keys of these rickshaws have been given to women. This scheme is to provide a concrete and inspiring program to women. We have to empower and strengthen women. Ajit Pawar has also advised women in this program to be careful and stay safe, he said that if a man sits in the rickshaw, then take his photo.
Women and girls should consider these pink rickshaws while taking rickshaws. Photographing rickshaw passengers serves as a deterrent against misconduct and provides evidence if issues arise. While not all passengers cause problems, some do. This initiative aims to protect drivers and create a safer environment, encouraging women to join the rickshaw service.
