Pune: A shocking incident of crime has came to light were a four unknown assailants fatally attacked a 17-year-old minor boy with a sharp weapon. This incident occurred in Sinhagad Road's Manikbagh area on Saturday, February 21,2026 between 4:30 and 5:00 pm. According to the information received, the young man was standing in front of a Burger King shop, when four youths who came on two bikes suddenly attacked him with handkerchiefs tied around their face.

Within no time, the attackers stabbed the boy with a sharp weapon, leaving him in a pool of blood and fled the scene. This created an atmosphere of fear in the area. As soon as the information about the incident was received, the Sinhagad Road Police Station police rushed to the spot. The injured boy was immediately admitted to the hospital and his condition is said to be serious.

The process of registering a case in this case is underway at the Sinhagad Road Police Station, and senior police officers are monitoring the situation. The police have seized CCTV footage from the area and are searching for the accused. The reason for the attack is not yet clear. The incident, which took place in a densely populated area, has once again raised the issue of security in the area.
