Pune :A 25-year-old man sustained a serious injury to his left leg after jumping over the wall of the Indian Air Force's Lohegaon airport while attempting to flee after an argument with his wife. The shocking incident occurred on the afternoon of January 22, and was immediately apprehended by security forces.
According to e-sakal report, man, a resident of Phule Nagar in the Yerwada area and was emotionally distressed due to a domestic dispute. He left his home and ran towards the boundary wall of the Air Force compound in Lohegaon. He broke his leg while jumping over the wall and fell to the ground.
Air Force security personnel quickly apprehended Jadhav. Following the incident, an Indian Air Force warrant officer filed a complaint at the Airport Police Station, leading to the immediate registration of an FIR. The preliminary investigation revealed that a domestic dispute with his wife had emotionally disturbed Jadhav, causing him to flee. In his flight, he impulsively jumped over the Air Force compound wall.
Jadhav's entry into the restricted area constitutes criminal trespass. He sustained a major injury to his left leg and was admitted to a Lohegaon hospital for treatment. According to Senior Inspector Govind Jadhav of the Airport Police Station, the incident occurred in the afternoon. Air Force officials and security agencies conducted a joint investigation, finding nothing suspicious. Officials confirmed the incident stemmed from a domestic dispute with no terrorist or serious motives.
