A man allegedly posted obscene photos of his ex-girlfriend and made vulgar comments about her friend on social media after their breakup. The incident took place in the Loni Kalbhor area, and police registered a case against the accused on Monday night.

The accused, identified as Sushant Umakant Koli from Manjari in Pune, was booked at the Loni Kalbhor police station.

According to police, the victim is a student at a reputed educational institute in the Loni Kalbhor area. Her friend also studies at the same institute. Both women live in a PG accommodation in the locality.

The complainant’s friend was in a relationship with the accused, but they broke up two months ago due to internal disputes. The accused suspected that the complainant was responsible for the breakup. He attempted to reconcile with his ex-girlfriend, but she refused.

Angered by this, the accused allegedly used his Instagram account to post a photo of the complainant with vulgar comments. He also shared an Instagram story mentioning both women’s names with obscene remarks. Later, he sent the complainant’s WhatsApp number obscene photos of her friend, which caused distress and harassment.

Following a complaint from the 21-year-old student, police registered a case against the accused. Further investigation is underway.
