Pune Maharashtra Housing and Area Development Authority (MHADA) will announced result forlottery on Tuesday, February 10. The lottery for the sale of 4,186 flats across various housing projects of MHADA, including Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PMC), the Pune Metropolitan Region Development Authority, as well as Solapur, Kolhapur and Sangli districts.
The draw announcement will be held at 12 pm on Tuesday by MHADA Chairman Shivajirao Adhalrao Patil. The draw will take place at the Sharad Chandra Pawar Hall of the Zilla Parishad using a computerised system in the presence of MHADA Vice Chairman and CEO Sanjeev Jaiswal. A total of 2,58,832 applications have been received for the 4,186 flats. Of these, 2,15,965 applicants have paid the deposit amount and will be included in the draw.
The MHADA Board of Pune had issued an advertisement on September 11 last year for the lottery of 4,186 flats. This included 3,322 flats under the 20% comprehensive housing scheme and 864 flats under the 15% social housing scheme within the limits of Pune and PMC, along with projects under the Pune Metropolitan Region Development Authority.
The deadline for submitting applications was extended twice due to technical issues, and the election code of conduct was enforced due to municipal elections. MHADA Chief Officer Rahul Sakore informed that applicants who cannot attend the event in person will be able to watch the live broadcast of the draw at home through a YouTube link sent to their registered mobile numbers.
