Pune Municipal Corporation Election Results 2026: The first official results of the Pune Municipal Corporation elections show the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) winning three of four seats in Ward No. 20 (Shankar Maharaj Math–Bibwewadi), while the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) secured one seat.
BJP candidates Rajendra Shilimkar, Tanvi Divekar and Mansi Deshpande were declared winners. NCP’s Gaurav Ghule defeated BJP veteran Mahendra Sunde to claim the fourth seat, preventing a clean sweep by BJP in the ward.

The result has sparked enthusiasm among BJP workers. The party is leading in several other wards across Pune.
Ward No. 24 recorded a voter turnout of 53.5 percent. A total of 36,328 people cast their votes. This included 18,682 men, 17,645 women and one transgender voter.
