Pimpri: A driver who went to a transport office to collect his vehicle rental money was attacked by a gang. The incident took place on Tuesday (January 27) at the New South Cargo Movers Transport office at Chimbali Phata.
Anand Dilip Karande has filed a complaint at the Alandi police station regarding this incident. Accordingly, Javed Mahamad Shaikh, Shoaib Khalil Momin, Rajkumar Ramchandra Bhosale (25, Sangola, Solapur), and Sunil Sakharam Rathod have been arrested.
Karande had gone to the office to collect the rental money from the suspect Javed. At that time, Javed verbally abused him and called the other suspects to the spot. One of them hit the complainant on the head with a small gas cylinder, while another seriously injured him by hitting him on the head with a floor tile.
The suspect raised the cylinder in the air and shouted, causing people in the area to flee in fear and close their shops. The attack was carried out with the intention of killing the complainant. The Alandi police are investigating the matter.
In Laheriya Ganj, Madhubani, a stabbing incident occurred, leaving three people seriously injured. Lalbabu Sada and his son, residents of Laheriya Ganj Musahari Tola, had an argument with Rahul Kumar Yadav around 10 PM regarding a money dispute. The argument escalated, and Rahul Kumar Yadav pulled out a knife, repeatedly stabbing the father and son, causing serious injuries.

Upon hearing the commotion, people from the surrounding area rushed to the scene and informed the city police station. Local residents and the police took all the injured to the Sadar Hospital, from where they were referred to DMCH Darbhanga.
