A devastating accident occurred in Dhakale, Khed taluka, when a tempo carrying bulls for a bullock cart race lost control and overturned in a ghat section. The incident resulted in the tragic death of 55-year-old Kondu Satu Bangar, while eight others sustained injuries.

According to reports, Gabaji Pardhi from Ghotwadi was transporting bulls in a tempo for a scheduled race in Dhakale. However, as the vehicle navigated the steep ghat between Ghotwadi and Dhamangaon, the driver lost control, leading to a severe crash. Around 10-15 people, who were seated atop the tempo, were thrown off as it overturned. One of the passengers died instantly, while eight others suffered injuries and were rushed to a nearby rural hospital for treatment.

The driver fled the scene immediately after the accident, and authorities have launched a search operation to locate him.
