Pune: After heavy showers last week, on Sunday April 5, Lohegaon recorded, 36 degrees Celsius a highest maximum temperature. The sky in the city will be generally clear for the next two to three days and cloudy weather will remain after noon. The Pune Observatory forecasts rising maximum temperatures and more heat waves after unseasonal rains brought temporary respite from the summer heat, increasing humidity in the city and suburbs over the past eight days.
Over the past two days, rainfall had brought relief, bringing the maximum temperature down to around 32°C. However, temperatures have now risen again, crossing 36°C. As a result, while the afternoons are noticeably warmer, the cloudy conditions are also adding to the discomfort.

On the latest recording, the maximum temperature reached 36.1°C in Lohegaon, 33.7°C in Shivajinagar, and 32.8°C in both Chinchwad and NDA areas. Despite the heat being felt through most of the day, residents continue to experience some relief during the cooler mornings and nights.
