Pune : Cyber police have succeeded in arresting another member of  the gang that cheated senior citizen of Rs 10 crore 74 lakh under the guise of digital arrest from Solapur. Investigation has revealed that Rs 10 crore 74 lakh of the fraud was diverted to 5 thousand 436 different banks. The name of the arrested accused is Amar Shivaji Attarangi from Solapur. Earlier in this case, Harshad Subhash Dhantole and Samarth Suresh Deshmukh were arrested on February 22.

The complainant had deposited Rs 75 lakh in the Bank account on January 30, 2026. A total of Rs 6 lakh 50 thousand was sent from this account to three different accounts of Bank. The police had arrested the two based on the information received through the cyber crime portal and CCTV footage. Harshad Dhantole had said that he had given the cash withdrawn from the ATM to Rohan Jadhav (Res. Sangvi). A total of 29 fraud cases have been revealed through the bank accounts used by these two accused.

While searching for Rohan Jadhav, it was found that he and Amar Attarangi had a close relationship. It was found that the complainant had sent Rs. 5 lakh of the fraud amount to the Central Bank of India account and then withdrew this money in cash through cheque. It was learned that this bank account was in the name of Amar Attarangi. After that, a team was sent to Solapur on March 5 to search for him.

The police caught Amar Attarangi from the Modikhana area and arrested him on March 6. The investigation into Amar Attarangi has revealed a crime in Maharashtra. Out of the Rs. 10 crore 74 lakh involved in this crime, the police have so far managed to freeze Rs. 1 crore 34 lakh. This action was taken by the Cyber ​​Police under the guidance of Police Commissioner Amitesh Kumar, Joint Police Commissioner Ranjan Kumar Sharma, Additional Police Commissioner Pankaj Deshmukh, Deputy Commissioner Vivek Masal.
