Police are now trying to determine the origins of the infants and how they ended up in the trash. Officers have started questioning nearby hospitals and clinics to uncover any links to illegal abortions or medical malpractice. The remains have been sent for medical examination, and the cause of death will be confirmed after autopsy results.

The State Women’s Commission has taken serious note of the case. In a statement, the commission said it expects a thorough investigation and strict action against those responsible. The investigation is ongoing.
