A shocking incident has come to light in the Wagholi area where a flour mill worker raped a ten-year-old girl who was on her way to school by luring her with food. Wagholi police have arrested the 27-year-old accused. Citizens are expressing anger over the incident that took place on March 25.
Wagholi police have registered a case against the accused under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act. The police said that the 10-year-old girl was on her way to school in the morning in the Wagholi area around 7 AM when the mill worker lured her with food. After luring her for food he convinced her to go to the mill with him. At the mill he sexually assaulted her.

When the locals saw her crying at the corner of the road, they started questioning her. When she shared the incident with them they immediately called the police. After investigating the police located the perpetrator and detained him. A case has been registered at Wagholi police station. The locals demand strict action should be taken against the accused and he should be given the death penalty
