A shocking incident took place in Pune's Pimpri-Chinchwad Area where a retired army subedar committed unnatural sexual assault on a 13-year-old boy. In this case, locals caught him, beat him up, and handed him over to the police. The incident took place in Bopkhel on Sunday (April 13) at around 8:30 pm.

The retired army has been named as Lala Mohammad Sheikh (65, resident of Ramnagar, Bopkhel). The mother of the minor victim lodged a complaint in this regard at Dapodi police station on Monday (April 14). According to the police, Sheikh is a retired army officer and is staying on a rental basis in Bopkhel. His wife and children live elsewhere.

Meanwhile, Sheikh was committing unnatural sexual assault on the victim's 13-year-old boy in his room. Local citizens got information about this. They caught Sheikh and beat him up. They also handed him over to the police. Sheikh was admitted to Sassoon Hospital in Pune due to injuries sustained in the assault. The victim's mother lodged a complaint at Dapodi police station in this regard. The police registered a case against Sheikh for child sexual abuse.
