A food stall operating under IRCTC at Pune Railway Station was found selling stale food, sparking outrage among passengers. The issue came to light on Wednesday when a commuter purchased a vada pav and noticed a foul smell.

When the passenger confronted the vendor, they refused to acknowledge the issue. Members of the Pune Rural Railway Passengers Group intervened and recorded a video of the exchange. The video shows the vendor being asked to eat the same food to prove its quality, but instead, they threw it in the trash.

Passengers accused the stall of endangering public health and have demanded strict action from railway authorities. After the video went viral, IRCTC responded by asking passengers to share details, including their PNR, mobile number, and platform number, for further investigation.
