Lord Shiva devotees thronged the Punyeshwar Temple complex in Pune to celebrate the Maha Shivratri 2025 festival. According to the city traffic branch, Punyeshwar Road to Agarwal Road will be closed for vehicles on Wednesday, February 26, from 6 AM to 12 PM to ensure smooth traffic flow. Commuters are advised to follow the alternative routes suggested by the authorities. The changes and restrictions will not be binding on emergency services vehicles, police, and military vehicles.

Alternative Routes:
Vehicles travelling from Kumbharves Chowk to Phadke Houd Chowk should take Kumbharves Chowk, Gadgil Putta Chowk, Jijamata Chowk, and Ganesh Road.
Vehicles from Surya Hospital via Agarwal Road and Pawale Chowk should proceed via Jijamata Chowk, Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Road (left), and Ganesh Road.
Motorists travelling from Phadke Houd Chowk to Kumbharves Chowk should take Jijamata Chowk, Futka Burj, Bajirao Road, Gadgil Statue.
Vehicles from Kamla Nehru Hospital via Agarwal Road should take Daruwala Bridge, Devjibaba Chowk, Phadke Houd Chowk.
