Many injured and vehicles were damage after large thorny tree collapsed near Pune's Garware College due to strong winds on Tuesday college. The incident has caused a major traffic congestion on Tuesday morning as it is the busy area. Initial reports, the injured individual has been admitted to a nearby hospital for treatment. The fallen tree also crushed multiple two-wheelers and four-wheelers parked along the roadside. 

After the incident, the fire brigade immediately reached the spot, and work is underway to remove the tree. An eyewitness said, “I was drinking juice at that time. Suddenly the wind came, and the tree fell. Some cars came under it. Currently, police security has been increased in the area and citizens have been appealed to avoid crowds.

In separate incident a fire broke out in a car near the Dapodi area in Maharashtra's Pune on Monday night, April 7. There was no loss of life or injuries reported in the incident. Pimpri Chinchwad Fire Department also shared the video of the incident. The incident was reported at around 9.45 p.m. on Monday. After receiving the information, a fire tender from Pimpri Chinchwad Fire Department rushed to the spot and successfully doused the blaze.
