Several areas in Pune have been experiencing low-pressure and inadequate water supply over the past few days. As temperatures rise, the irregular supply has added to residents' struggles. Officials say the increase in demand has forced them to start supply before the tanks reach optimal pressure levels. As a result, areas at the start of the water pipelines receive more water, while those at the far ends and at higher elevations face delays and shortages.

The affected areas include Erandwane, Karvenagar, DP Road, Patwardhan Baug, Law College Road, Paud Phata, Bhandarkar Road, Janwadi, Gokhalenagar, Model Colony, Wadarwadi, Shivajinagar, Dhayari, Dhayari Phata, and several Peth areas such as Guruwar Peth and Raviwar Peth.

In localities like Erandwane, Patwardhan Baug, and Nal Stop, where water used to flow at full pressure, residents report a noticeable drop in supply over the past week. Additionally, water stops flowing 30 to 45 minutes earlier than usual, preventing society tanks from filling and creating acute water shortages.

On Senapati Bapat Road, as well as in Wadarwadi, Janwadi, and Model Colony, low water pressure has made it difficult for tanks to fill even when water is available throughout the supply period. Residents in these areas continue to face severe inconvenience as they struggle to secure enough water for daily use.
