Major water supply disruption will be faced by residents living in South Pune on Thursday February 12, 2026. According to PMC their will be a 14-hour complete water cut in several parts of the city. The PMC Water Supply Department said that water supply will also remain delayed and at low pressure on Friday morning.
PMC officials have announced a full-day water supply shutdown on Thursday to allow for technical upgrades to the first stage of the Vadgaon Water Purification Centre, installation of a shut-off plate on the main pipeline, and the addition of three new water distribution points.

Low Water Preseure on Friday
Expect low water pressure in many areas, with some receiving very little. The Municipal Corporation advises residents to conserve water and stock up on Wednesday. The Water Supply Department apologizes for the inconvenience due to scheduled work.
