Pune, Maharashtra (April 16, 2025): Water supply will be shut in several areas of Pune on Thursday, April 17, 2025, due to emergency leakage repair in the main pressure pipeline at Agam Mandir and urgent structural maintenance at Rajmata Tunnel Road, the Pune Municipal Corporation said on Tuesday. The civic body also said that on Friday, April 18, water supply is expected to be delayed and available at low pressure in some areas.

The areas where water supply will be completely shut on Thursday include Nilgiri Chowk, Chintamani Dnyanpeeth to Trimurti Chowk, Bharati Vidyapeeth area, Bharati Vihar, Chandrabhaga Nagar, Sawant Vihar, Sawant Garden, Wonder City, Kadam Plaza, Gyansi Garden, Manik Moti, Narayani Dham area, Dattanagar, Santosh Nagar, Ambegaon Budruk Gaothan, Ambegaon Khurd, Jambhulwadi Road and Dhabadi.

The Water Supply Department has appealed to residents to use water carefully and store enough water in advance. The department also said that people should plan their water usage for the next two days as supply will remain affected.

Water supply is expected to return to normal from Saturday. The civic body has requested citizens to cooperate and avoid inconvenience.
