A woman lost her life and a spa manager sustained critical injuries after allegedly attempting to flee during a police raid at a spa centre in Viman Nagar, where an illegal sex racket was suspected to be operating, officials said on Tuesday. According to police, the raid was carried out in the evening following specific inputs about unlawful activities at the establishment. Amid the chaos, a woman and the spa manager are said to have attempted to flee by jumping from a rear window of the building. The spa manager sustained serious injuries and is currently undergoing treatment in the intensive care unit (ICU), police said.
