On Friday morning Mumbaikars woke up to a cool and cloudy weather. Parts of Mumbai on Friday morning received light drizzle amid the winter season. As per reports, several areas including Sion, Kurla, Wadala, Kalyan, Ambernath, Badlapur, Thane experienced drizzle and cooler climate.

North Konkan, including Raigad district, also witnessed some drizzles during the same period. As per the IMD official, the present situation may continue for the next couple of days.

Last week, Mumbai had recorded season’s lowest minimum temperature, suggesting the onset of winter. However, the mercury may not dip further because of the formation of the low-pressure area in the Arabian Sea, said the official.
