The video, from Rayara Doddi village in Channapatna near Bengaluru, was shared by The Times of India’s Bengaluru handle on X. It captures a rare emotional moment that has drawn thousands of reactions online.
In the video, an 85-year-old woman who reportedly used to feed local monkeys every day has passed away. One of the monkeys, believed to have recognised her, was seen sitting beside her body and gently resting its head on her in what appears to be a final farewell.

The video has left social media users emotional. One user wrote that in a time when humanity seems to be fading, animals are keeping emotional connections alive.
