The country is under lockdown due to the rising coronavirus cases. The rapidly spreading coronavirus has created a climate of fear in people's minds. Amid the pandemic many are also getting married in the presence of fewer people. Many who were planning to get married this year were either canceled or indefinitely postponed. Some even tied the knot over a Zoom call.
A video from a wedding in Andhra Pradesh is going viral on social media where waiters could be seen serving their guests while wearing PPE kits. Coming from the Krishna district of the state, the video was posted on YouTube by an account called ‘Stomach Hurts.’
In the video,the waiters are taking all the safety precautions while serving food to the guests at the wedding. According to reports, the Kodi Caterers from Gudivada in the district were given the contract after three whole months.
The caterers were asked to arrange around 150-200 plates for the ceremony where the guests are made to sit down and have lunch.
In this particular wedding in Andhra Pradesh, the caterers were strictly instructed to make sure that all the waiters and everyone else involved with the wedding wore PPE kits. Their temperatures were checked and they had to sanitize their hands whenever necessary.
