WhatsApp is currently down, affecting users worldwide who are unable to send messages. Many have reported the issue on Down Detector. The outage began late on February 28 and is impacting both smartphones and computers.

Down Detector reported over 4,400 complaints about a WhatsApp outage around 9 pm. The cause is unclear, but users experienced widespread disruptions that prevented them from sending or receiving messages.
