Recently, the company has focused on upgrading the Status section and is set to roll out a new feature for this section to further benefit its users.

WhatsApp's website, WABetaInfo, which tracks upcoming features and updates, has provided details about a new feature currently in development. According to a report from WABetaInfo, the upcoming creation tools have been spotted in WhatsApp beta for Android version 2.25.3.2. A screenshot of the new feature was also shared by WABetaInfo, revealing that users will soon have two shortcuts in the Gallery section for their status updates. These shortcuts are expected to allow users to easily access separate sections for text statuses and voice message statuses.

The feature is currently in testing mode, but once rolled out, users will see a separate voice message section alongside photos, videos, and text in the Status section. This will allow users to add voice notes directly to their WhatsApp status. While the ability to add voice notes to WhatsApp status already exists, it is not yet available as a separate option. The new feature is still in testing, and the company is expected to launch it soon.
