Spsh tennis player Rafael Nadal on Saturday stormed into the fourth round of the ongoing Australian Open after winning his third-round match.

Nadal defeated Britain's Cameron Norrie in straight sets 7-5, 6-2, 7-5 and the Spard won the match without breaking a sweat at the Rod Laver Arena. Nadal will now take on Fabio Fognini in the fourth round of the Australian Open on Monday.

The first set was closely contested and both Norrie and Nadal went back and forth, but in the end, the 34-year-old Nadal managed to hold on his own and he won the set 7-5.

The world-number-two then carried the winning momentum in the second set and he won it quite easily 6-2 and as a result, the Spard was just one more set away from progressing to the fourth round.

The third and final set once again was a close affair but Nadal managed to hold his own, winning it 7-5 and as a result, he wrapped up the match in straight sets.

Earlier in the day, world number four Dil Medvedev claimed his first five-set victory as he defeated Filip Krajinovic 6-3, 6-3, 4-6, 3-6, 6-0 to reach the fourth round of the Australian Open for the third consecutive year.

With this win, Medvedev extended his winning streak to 17 matches, which include the title at the 2020 season-ending ATP Finals.

Medvedev will next play Mackenzie McDonald, the unseeded American, in the fourth round of the tournament.
