A seven-year-old girl narrowly escaped a life-threatening situation on Monday morning, February 9, after a pack of 10 to 15 stray dogs attacked her within a residential complex in Dombivli, Thane district.
The incident that occurred at the Orchid Society Khoni-Palava area has sparked renewed concerns regarding resident safety from aggressive stray animals. The child was on her way to school when she was targeted by a pack of approximately 10 to 15 dogs.

The CCTV video of the incident, which went viral on social media, shows an attack that took place during the busy morning hours at around 6.45 AM on Monday (February 9) as residents were departing for work and school.
A girl with a school bag on her back entered a lane when a white dog sleeping at the corner suddenly woke up and began barking at her. Panicked, she started running, which triggered the other dogs to become aggressive and chase after her.
