A destructive fire engulfed a powerloom unit in Bhiwandi, Maharashtra's Thane district, on Sunday evening, destroying crucial equipment and a large stock of finished goods. The blaze broke out around 6 pm at the Bhusawal Compound in Fatima Nagar, severely damaging the factory's operations.

Thankfully, no casualties were reported. Local firefighters, supported by the disaster control team, battled the fire for hours, and it was finally brought under control by 10:30 pm. Authorities are investigating the cause of the fire, which has resulted in significant losses to both machinery and stored goods.
