In the video, Baba Khan said, "At time of holy month of Ramzan you fired at my house." He dared the unidentified assailants to shoot him from the front and dared not attack his family. He accused Mumbra police officials, claiming that they take his complaint on a lighter note and do not take further action.
He named several senior officials of Mumbra police, including DCP Prajapati, for not taking action after he had filed several complaints when he had received direct threats from unknown assailants.
A senior official of Thane City Police said two rounds were fired at Khan's outside. Regarding the incident, a case has been registered under relevant provisions of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) and the Arms Act.
Police told The Times of India that they are verifying CCTV footage and examining the visuals from the area to identify those involved in the shooting.
