A shocking case of crime has came to light were a man allegedly molested a 13-year-old mentally challenged girl. This incident occurred in Thane on on December 12 last year in Bhiwandi area. 

According to PTI Victim's mother approached the police with a complaint on March 8 and did not specify the reason for the delay in reporting the crime. After complaint a case has been registered against the man. 

Five teachers of a private school have been arrested for allegedly raping a 13-year-old girl in Odisha’s Kendrapara district, police said. The arrests were made on Saturday after the father of the Class-7 student and the district child welfare committee lodged separate complaints at the Rajkanika police station, alleging that the accused teachers had raped the minor, a senior officer said. The parents of the student approached the district child welfare committee after their daughter accused the teachers of abusing her sexually for a long period, he said.

The accused were identified as Chandan Kumar Prusty (37), Biswa Ranjan Sahoo (31), Rashmikanta Biswal (47) and Minati Bai (34), all teachers and Rashmi Ranjan Rana (32), the school peon.
