The incident of a colleague being stoned to death by a stone in a fit of rage over his drunkenness towards his parents took place in Dattu Nagar Bhadwad in the city. A case was registered against an unknown accused in this case at Shantinagar Police Station. A parallel investigation into this crime was being conducted by the Bhiwandi Crime Branch. The Bhiwandi Crime Branch informed on Thursday that the accused in this murder was arrested from Katni in Madhya Pradesh after the investigation conducted by the Bhiwandi Crime Branch based on CCTV footage and technical information.

The name of the arrested accused is Ravikumar Vishnu Singh, 29 years old, resident of Kadamtoli, Jaspur district, Chhattisgarh state, while the name of the unfortunate person who was killed is Chittaranjan Nageshia, 30 years old, resident of Kadamtoli. Both the accused Ravikumar and the deceased Chittaranjan are each other's friends and lived in Dattu Nagar area of ​​Bhadwad. A few days ago, while both of them were sitting together drinking alcohol, the deceased Chittaranjan had abused the accused Ravi Kumar about his parents. Taking this as an anger, Ravikumar killed Chittaranjan by crushing him with a stone and using a sharp weapon and fled to Madhya Pradesh.

As soon as the Bhiwandi Crime Branch team received the news that the accused Ravikumar had fled to Madhya Pradesh, the team of Assistant Police Inspector Dhanraj Kedar, Police Constable Sabir Sheikh, Sunil Salunkhe, Prakash Patil, Vaman Bhoir, Nilesh Borse, Sachin Jadhav, Sudesh Ghag, Police Constable Umesh Thakur, Bhavesh Gharat, Amol Ingle, Driver, Police Constable Ravindra Salunkhe investigated the accused and arrested the accused Ravikumar, who was preparing to flee from Katni Railway Station in Madhya Pradesh with the help of CRPF police.
