Speaking on the matter, P.R. Meena, the officer-in-charge of the Kalyan RPF, stated that the incident occurred while the jawan was attempting to resolve a dispute between passengers. The Railway Police have arrested the three individuals and have initiated further legal proceedings. Meanwhile, the fact that a security personnel on duty was himself attacked has once again brought the issue of railway passenger safety to the forefront. This incident poses a significant challenge to the existing railway security apparatus.
