Several parts of Thane will face a complete water cut on Wednesday, April 9, from 9 AM to 9 PM, as the Thane Municipal Corporation (TMC) undertakes urgent repair work on its water supply system.

The shutdown is being carried out to fix a leakage in the main water pipeline at the Mankoli MBR and to disconnect unauthorized connections between Pise and Temghar water treatment plants under TMC’s independent water supply scheme. Both the TMC’s system and the STEM authority’s water scheme will undergo a 12-hour shutdown to facilitate this critical maintenance.

As a result, residents in Ghodbunder Road, Lokmanya Nagar, Vartak Nagar, Saket, Rutu Park, Jail area, Gandhi Nagar, Rustomjee, Siddhanchal, Indira Nagar, Rupadevi Srinagar, Samtanagar, Siddheshwar, Eternity, Johnson, and parts of Mumbra and Kalwa will experience a complete disruption in water supply for 12 hours.

The municipal corporation has urged citizens to cooperate by using water judiciously during this period.
