Amulya Kumar Patnaik is the present Commissioner of Delhi Police since 30 January 2017. Patnaik, who hails from Odisha is a 1985 batch and AGMUT cadre IPS officer. He is set to retire in January 2020. Prior to this, he was serving as the Special Commissioner of Police in Delhi Police.
