Andrew John Bailey is a British central banker, who was Deputy Governor of the Bank of England from April 2013 to July 2016. On the recommendation of the Chancellor of the Exchequer, Bailey will take on the role of Governor of the Bank of England, with his term beginning on 17 March 2020.
