Basil Rohana Rajapaksa is a Sri Lankan politician and was a member of parliament from 2007 to 2015.During the period of 2005–2010 he served as a presidential senior advisor for then President Mahinda Rajapaksa and in 2007 he was appointed as a member of parliament from the national list.
